Whiplash Provided the Answer She Was Seeking

“I remember when I was 16 being very interested in preventative health care. I then had the misfortune of suffering a whiplash injury, and decided to consult with a chiropractor. The experience of being adjusted and feeling so much better was eye-opening for me! When I learned that chiropractic care was also preventative in nature, I decided to make it my life’s work.”

Dr Sandra completed her chiropractic training at RMIT University in Melbourne. She has also pursued extensive post-graduate study in advanced chiropractic care techniques and has been the owner of multiple successful practices.

Dr Yvonne Tan -

B.Sc., B. Chiro

Dr Yvonne Tan completed her 5 year chiropractic degree at Murdoch University. Her own personal experience of constant headaches and insomnia lead her to visit a chiropractor- the benefits of her treatment were so effective and positive, this gave her the inspiration to pursue a career in the field which strongly align with her altruistic and passionate nature to help others.

Friendly and professional, she uses a natural, non-invasive approach towards treatment helping to improve, gain, and maintain optimal movement of the joints and muscles in the body, helping you to function at your best. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and Pilates, playing squash, and playing the piano. She looks forward to meeting you to get started on your journey toward optimal health

Joshua Walker

Dr Josh Walker - BSc(Chiro), BClinChiro

Hi, I’m Josh!
I enrolled in Murdoch’s double bachelor of chiropractic because I wanted to work
closely with patients. Before long, I fell in love with the practical and clinical training,
and that was that! I was fortunate enough to graduate with a high distinction and a
few awards under my belt.
I thought five years wasn’t long enough, and I was accepted to complete a Master's
by Research, which I chose to do in the field of chiropractic education. My academic
interests lie in the education of patients, students, and other clinicians. I’m also
involved in teaching and demonstrating for the chiropractic program at Murdoch
University across human anatomy, clinical biomechanics, and more.
Outside of this, I love being active in the gym, running, hiking, you name it! I also
volunteer with St John Event Health Services for extra clinical experience and to help
the community.
My treatment approach is all about patient-centred care. Patient-centred care
combines your expertise in your concerns, my expertise in treatment, and the latest
evidence-based guidelines. I greatly advocate for strong patient communication so
you are always in the loop. Depending on what’s concerning you, we might use a
mix of manual adjusting, different soft-tissue therapies, rehabilitation, and more.
I’m looking forward to working with you!
